He has 1/4 border collie genes but physically looks more like an Aussie and temperament is more like an Aussie except he is more ball obsessed than most Aussie and has faster learning and complex problem solving abilities compared to most Australian Shepherds, his intelligence is more Border Collie
He has an excellent off switch and obedience skills. I take him to work with me regularly and he quietly stays on his mat or under the bed unless he’s told it’s okay to interact with my clients. He loves receiving pats and attention.
He is a natural at agility and dock diving. He takes obedience very seriously and doesn’t break his down stays until he hears his release word. A true gentleman and does not jump on new people when saying hello and walks on a loose leash
