Kai our purebred slate merle Border Collie stud is offered through our Gold Coast–based breeding program with a strong focus on ethical, health-driven breeding outcomes. He has undergone full DNA health testing through Orivet and has already sired multiple litters within our program, proving to be a valuable and reliable contributor. Based on these results, we are now offering him for external stud services, including artificial insemination, to like-minded breeders. Raised in a family environment, he demonstrates an excellent temperament, high intelligence, and balanced structure consistent with the Border Collie breed standard. Our dogs are raised as part of our household, with long-term wellbeing and genetic integrity always prioritized.
We take a careful and responsible approach to pairings. Our stud dogs are not bred to wheaten-coloured Border Collies unless DNA testing confirms no underlying merle, as hidden merle genes can lead to serious health risks. We also assess predominantly white-headed Collies on an individual basis to minimize pigment-related concerns. All pairings are evaluated with the health, safety, and future of the litter as the highest priority.
